This workshop is designed for rising 9th graders. Our work will focus on building a foundation of joy and confidence as we explore the awesomeness of Algebra. This workshop is open to all rising 9th graders who work well in small groups. The workshop will be facilitated to highlight multiple strategies and mathematical strengths, so all participants feel challenged, capable, and supported. We will meet from 4-7:30 pm July 17, 2023-July 20, 2023 in person in the East Lake neighborhood in Atlanta Georgia. A simple dinner (think pizza) will be available each evening. All materials will be provided. Max number of students is 8, minimum number required for the workshop to run is 4 students.
